Don and Robin Beach Session 4.27.12

As I mentioned earlier, May is scheduled to be a pretty great month for photo shoots and it already started off with a bang when I got the absolute honor and privilege of getting to photograph Don and Robin last Friday.  You may not be able to tell by looking at them, and I sure don't see it with their energy levels but these two are grandparents and ones at that who act as much as in love as they did when they first met and were married.  They were absolutely great to work with and I am looking forward to getting a chance to do some more pictures for them in the near future!

Here are some of the pictures from our shoot!  I hope they enjoy them as much as I enjoyed being able to capture this moment in their lives!

After drawing a heart in the sand for her husband-too cute!

This picture just seems to show me how comfortable they really are together- just being together.

Love this shot of them- just in love

Fun Day with the family!

Today we spent time with my in-laws and parents so our daughter had an absolute blast with all of the attention.  Her aunt also came to visit and brought her a new red wagon that she has already fell in love with and can be seen pushing random objects around the house.  As usual we spent some time out in patio, which was a nice surprise since the weather was supposed to be quite bad.

Additionally this evening I have spent some time doing some work on the website.  I love getting in there and seeing all the great features it has that will only help my clients.  I could really get lost in time just hanging out in there.

Hope you enjoy the changes I am working on and my daily pictures!  I am hosting a shower for one of my best friends next weekend and can't wait to capture her day for her.  Stay tuned for those as well...

Reading on the patio!

As I probably have mentioned before, my daughter's favorite room in our house is our patio.  She could really just spend all day there and play- she absolutely loves it.  So today before the large storms came in she wanted to go out there and do some "reading."  She picked two of her books and off we went!  It was too cute to pass up with a couple photos.  So I hope you enjoy them!

In business news, I am thrilled to say that it looks like May is getting booked up quickly.  This is such an exciting time for me and I can't wait to share the shoots with you so please stay tuned :)

Photography Love

One of the many things I love about photography is how you can share your interest in it - have the ability to talk and learn from each other yet have different passions of what you love to take pictures of.  It makes the community at times feel so small while extremely big at the same time.  I love being able to appreciate other's photographs from all fields and it makes me appreciate what I do even more.   With all that being said, I wanted to post a link from a good friend of ours who I get the pleasure of talking about photography with and knowing him for a while.  I am so proud that he has finally decided to start selling and posting his pictures online.  I encourage you all to take a look at them as they are truly stunning and hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

It's Definitely Spring!

The weather here today was absolutely perfect.  After running errands together, my daughter and I spent some time together out in our patio area (she absolutely loves being outside) and then she wanted to go and help daddy with some landscaping stuff he has been working on.  Here are a couple pictures from our perfect Sunday!  Hope you enjoy and had a great weekend.

Having a snack out on the patio.
Yummy!  Probably put too much in my mouth at once!

More please!!

Later in the day we had a popsicle to cool off.

At least the popsicle matched the outfit.

Uh oh- its just about done!

Looking for daddy outside

Ok Dad, I got this, let's go so you can finish up

I am ready- let's do this!

Wait dad, I think you forgot a few rocks in here.

Yup! I found a couple more for you in here.

All done for me.

Let's go shopping now that work is done!

Kids Never Cease to Amaze Me...

...that is part of why I just absolutely love taking pictures of them.  You never know what you are going to get from them whether it's a day of hanging around the house, doing errands, or even trying to do a photo shoot.  There is also this amazing sense of innocence that they hold and it is so precious to capture.  As you will come to see I tend to take a lot of pictures of my daughter, and that will also be the way it is with our son when he arrives.  When our kids grow up all we have to look back on are pictures- our way of securing a moment in time.  This blog allows me to not only share the photos and moments of the shoots I get the honor of being a part of but also my own family, who are my inspiration for doing what I do.

So after our Anniversary trip away this weekend, my husband and I took the day to spend with our daughter around town and here are some pictures I took while we were out and about.

Hope you all enjoy!

Our daughter telling us to hurry up so we can all get ready to go shopping!

She loves going to Home Depot and getting a chance to ride in their car carts!

Amelia Island

This weekend my husband and I decided to take a much needed mini-vacation for our Anniversary and headed up to Amelia Island.  While it was a very short trip, it was still very relaxing and a great little getaway.  The weather wasn't too cooperative but I managed to try and get some pictures when we could of some of the sights and things we did.  Hope you all enjoy and had a wonderful Easter!

Very windy day!  Down on the beach from our hotel.

Not too many people staying out by the water, but some pretty nice waves.

View from our floor, we could see over a lot of trees into the marsh land.  Just beautiful.

Cannons from Fort Clinch.

View from Fort Clinch, looking at Georgia from Florida.

Down in one of the halls of the Fort, just a small window you could see from underground.

Gorgeous view from the Fort.

Old water pump

Thought it made a great picture, though it was a bathroom!

How can you not love the beach or Florida!?
